WebiMax boasts that since its founding in 2008, the company continues to evolve as the internet marketing industry evolves. The company claims to have the largest number of internet marketing professionals in the US, with over 100 marketing specialists on their team to help their clients reach their organizational goals.

When we consider what the future of social media for business performance might look like, WebiMax is a forerunner.
In Jill Bowers’ WebiMax review for TopTenReviews, she describes WebiMax as a “one-stop online marketing firm”. She emphasizes this as the company specializes in optimizing their client’s business performance through search engine optimization, landing page optimization and analytics.
WebiMax provides their clients with content writers for content creation and to aid in copywriting to increase traffic to their clients websites, they make use of social network advertising and contextual search advertising to maximize their clients return on investment and they have created (on their own website) an online marketing centre for their clients, that allows them to evaluate their campaigns in real time. WebiMax also approaches each client differently, by studying the competitive environment their business is in and developing a customized approach to meet their clients marketing goals. This approach reiterates founder Wisnefski’s desire to be more of a strategic partner than an outsourced vendor.
To further their clients success (and to attract new business), WebiMax also has a company blog. It is through this blog that they provide further insight into how they can improve their clients businesses. In one blog post, WebiMax compiled a list of free search engine optimization tools for businesses to adjust their digital marketing strategies and to evaluate the effectiveness of their online presence to generate more traffic. Lessons for Others
Given that the use of social media is still relatively new for business performance, it will become increasingly integrated into our daily lives and within marketing strategies in the future; so much so that it will simply become common practice. Given this, there are many lessons that can be learned from internet marketing firms such as WebiMax.
WebiMax is constantly evolving to keep up with digital marketing trends in order to stay relevant. Warren Knight is a digital marketing specialist who notes that as of 2017, there are 2.3 billion active social media users, further emphasizing the importance of keeping up with social media trends. In his blog post for Business 2 Community on his social media predictions for 2017, he states that “Social media is here, and it’s here to stay with 91% of retail brands using 2 or more social media channels to market their business.” Knight predicts that while creating content relevant to your target audience is crucial and will continue to be a major driving factor for businesses in their social media strategy, that data will increasingly play a larger role. Knight states that “People buy from people and to get to the core of what your audience WANTS to see from you, you must be able to collect and analyse all of your data”. He emphasizes that paying attention to data and analytics is key and if used properly, businesses will find success through targeting the right audience, using the appropriate platforms for their business.
Knight also predicts that tools for businesses to collate and understand their data will become increasingly significant, such as the WebiMax online marketing client centre, where businesses can examine the results of their digital marketing campaigns in real time.
Knight’s final prediction for the future of social media lies in the use of automation. He states that “If you are going to automate your Social Media content…you must have a clear goal in mind for what you want to achieve. Collect your data, use your tools to analyse this and then automate your content on Social Media to achieve your outcome.”
Due to the fact that social media evolves so rapidly, it is difficult to predict exactly how it will evolve to be used in the future; however given what we have learned based on WebiMax and predictions from Jill Bowers and Warren Knight, businesses must develop a fully integrated approach to their digital marketing strategy. Due to the rapid technological advancements we see today, using data, tools and automation together to create a fully integrated social media approach will likely be complemented by other technological advances to create opportunities for continued business success.
